The setting was a juke joint in Kenwood, an area located in San Antonio, TX. The lovely lady sitting in front of the juke box is my wife's Grandmother, Ossie Mae Martin whom my wife bears an amazing resemblance to,....legs and all!

At first glance you see a young girl with braids in her hair. This young girl took algebra in the 2nd grade. She graduated from high school before the age of 16. She majored in business and graduated from Howard University,....hence the title,..I am not my hair !!!
